The Ferris Bueller, Bueller, Bueller Hi top dunk, a new dunk low, a new classic and a new blazer low. The classic has an alternative lace to match the tongue..



Which looks pretty mad when you lace them up. Fos dropped us off some new landscape stickers if you're in the market for jazzily coloured decals..



We'll have a re-stock of Landscape boards for the weekend including the new Snowy Stone Roses board. I was given a new book of skateboard photography my friend Alex made..

One for the bowling alley! Just received a call from Neil. He was in Duffer and thought I wasn't in because of a distinct lack of ativity on the alley today. I assured him that a hive of activity was cracking this end. Neil's tea the other night was fairly unconventional. It consisted of a chicken jalfrezi and onion bhaji sandwich followed by a box of celebrations! Neil keeps those food options coming. Charlie turned him into Chewbacca..

Media frenzy

Yesterday was a good day. I helped Henry Kingsford out with a shoot for an up coming Slam project, he got some really good shots out there in the sun shine. This was the crew..

Last but not least we have ne of our Swedish friend who's back in town. Gustav plus moustache, plus Slam tee, plus Slam messenger bag. After this I returned to the shop and went on from there to the Nolan's house in wood green. He was comleting the action shots on a short film he's making. Nick came along too, we got there in Steve's new camper van which is off the chain!!! You expect Scooby Doo to come leaping out of it. Steve got the full fire extinguisher treatment. Man of the night was a valiant Dan Callow who took three hefty slams off Steve's bmx. The slam was planned but he fully stunt manned it over the handlebars. I have video evidence, if it gets Callow clearance it may make it onto the alley in the future. Dan has the day off today

New gear straight out of the box from Out of Step. We have re-stock of the ever popular messenger bags and back-packs in the heavy canvas in a variety of colours. New boards too for the weekend, we have the Jason Lee photo series and they look sick. Each one features a photo he's taken. This is the freight train photo on it's own..



The photo was taken in Benicia. Next up is one with a massive tree on it..



This one was taken in Yosemite. I went there once, it's a massive national park. The tree is a giant Sequoia. The size of these trees is phenomenal. My brother and myself saw a grizzly bear run through the camp site while we were there. Next up is the highway board..



This was taken on highway 58 near Bakersfield. A nice Californian selection on the wall though I suspect they won't be there for long. There's a great stock of Blueprint here now too including money melons for all you money melon fans out there. What's a money melon?



That's a money melon! High demand for these, they're only £3.50 so drop by and flick throuugh the colours. Talking of colours, I see a lot of colours in WC2. Some are pleasing to my eye and some more offensive. There's a lot of neon on the streets. I have some neon in my wardrobe but it stays under cover, socks for instance. these are rarely seen, the less said about that the better. Anyhow that is what we would describe as a flavour piece not the neon onslaught whacking the high street upside it's head right now. But it's cool! It's new! It's Nu-rave!
Know what suckers, nothing is new, meet your commander and chief. This guy hosted a choice kids show for those that don't know. It was all themed around a word association game where you couldn't pause or hesitate if you did you'd get a bash round the head like this, or like this! The one with the most bruises who loses!



Mallet was pretty funny and he had a lot of swatches. We're listening to this..

It's our web masters birthday today, he is *@ years old!



He celebrated his birthday out in the Kingston, I was still out in the middle of the countryside, I'll tell you about that later.
It's good when you see what people have been up to when you haven't seen them for a bit, here's Shier's ad on the inside pages of Sugar..



My photography skills make it a teaser too, the main frame gets clipped by my Samsung's flash action. Notice the macro function is now in full effect though. Another man in the field is Andrew Brophy. Haven't seen that much of him you say! Flick through the new fourstar catalogue and you'll catch...



Model shots!..



Skate photo's! Typical lazy Brophy though, settling for any old edge when he could have gone out and found a high one. This is on the first page, the last is him and the crew...



There's some hill bombing in there and a good Gonz photo, ask to have a look next time you're in here. We have some good fourstar stuff on the way. We'll post it up as soon as it comes in. The kind people at Revival sent us a good box of promo stuff, thanks a lot. The waller jacket is going to get some summer time use. I think Dr Thermos is good for shorts too.
Yesterday was a write off in my mind when I woke up, hayfever etc. Once medicated the day began to get better and better. I was picked up by John and Tom and whisked away into the countryside to an undisclosed location outside of Brands Hatch. This was my third visit and possibly the best. It's a skate park next to a library and headquarters of Team Dennis..



Team Dennis is the brain child of Robert Grace and John Laidlow. John explained the basic ethos to me yesterday, Team Dennis is dedicated to fun and progression away from a competitive climate. It has a few core members and yesterday had an accompanying bongo section. Steve and myself and Tom are proud to be friends of Team Dennis and I look forward to another Dennis themed shred in the future. Look out for John doing some stunt driving in the next Kingpin in his whip Luigi to the displeasure of a soggy Jody Smith. I think Team Dennis excursions are planned for the future to destinations further afield but for the forseeable future Dennis is keeping it..



Loads of new blueprint stuff in this weekend if you need a board. Have a good weekend.

High Brow

I think I'll make some time to watch these two films when they come out this summer. They'll offer some light relief to my usual diet of subtitled black and white films about love and loss...



Apparently Anchorman 2 is in the making also! I'm not too excited about that. The other king of comedy who sits heavy on my dvd shelf Mr Sandler has this coming out too..



It's going to be a good year!

Magee is away at the moment and he said he's got loads of sick footage of this guy..



Lebron is a bad man, I know Lev's backing me on that, look forward to seeing what Magee brings back. The summer is arriving and everyone is stoked on the weather, I am too but every time summer rolls round and always these next two weeks...this happens..



Hayfever sucks but it will be gone soon I hope. Howlin Rain at the Luminaire was a good time in spite of allergies. they look like this..



If you were to look at the screen before the stage which dated the image of them a little anyway you could have been watching the very same band 25 years ago. Hoppy and Sam Ashley were there too, Sam said it was like being at a gig in the film Almost Famous. I recommend seeing them if you get a chance.
