I went and saw What happens in Vegas last night. How weak of me, yeah yeah. Romantic comedies are cinematic junk food, they require nothing of you and leave you with some kind of processed high. I think Ashton Kutcher is funny. He doesn't look very comfortable on a skateboard at one point though...



He skates through traffic in New York with Cameron Diaz lobbing oranges at him. Another reason for seeing this was to ready myself for the heavyweight film experience coming my way on wednesday. That's right...



Raekown tonight, Wonk on tuesday. Indiana Jones on wednesday. Action packed.

Incarcerated Scarfaces

Spent some time in Garlic n Shots last night. Lev, Stu and myself were drinking a shot called Tony Montana. No idea what it contained but it was good stuff. The title of the post reminded me we were drinking shots, "look at the Pelican, the Pelican". The Wu Gambino inspired title of todays post is in honour of tomorrow nights entertainment. Only built for Cuban Links! Once in a lifetime! Rae and ghost in London! There's gonna be some Tim boots stomping tomorrow night. From what I have gathered there is going to be a sizeable crew in attendance and I can't wait. It's almost made me forget about the cretin who thought it was a good idea to sock me in the eye last night. A completely un-provoked attack. Some people will live and die without fully functioning brains. Hopefully he won't breed any time soon. Maybe a fire door will fall on him.

Charlie and Rob will be back in time for next weekend though which is good, it should coincide with the arrival of this guy too if my information is correct..



This freshly inked picture was taken just before Brophy left ages ago. Next weekend it is then, the boys will be well and truly back in town.

Guess who's back!

He's been working away for the last few months and the package he was sent has been festering in the cupboard. Work has ended, Stockwell is nearly finished and he's back on the shredule. That's right mr Howard Cooke!



Board set up and ready to skate. I asked to get a picture of Howard holding his board up. I haven't seen Howard for a while and I forgot about the calamity which follows him around. He snapped the tail to pop his board up and cracked Seth right in the knee. This reminded me of the time we were sat on the stairs at a contest in Switzerland, it happens every year at a stadium in Basel. I was sat on a stair chatting to Howard, Shier was sat on the stair in front of him wearing a brand new white shirt. Howard had just got a coffee, whilst talking to me and for no apparent reason he tweaked out. It was a "someone just walked over my grave" type of shudder. His arms jogged about and he threw a whole cup of coffee all over Shier's back. Shier wasn't too stoked but had a new shirt in his bag. That was a funny trip. This is the board he set up..



It's good Howard is shredding this summer not that he hasn't been just that he is off the radar occasionally. Here is some on the radar evidence from not so long ago..

Henry's been digging in the crates and has unveiled a serious grip of old photos to bring you over the next few weeks. This is a fairly Heroin heavy post, Lou Reed would be proud. Linking that with one of Henry's gems here is Heroin am Chris Ault..



...and Rob's addition to the flick lurks in the windows background, a response to the on going beef the two have. Ault took it out on Rob with full page coverage featuring a home made sticker, now Rob's bit of craft has a stage. Church on a wednesday

Went to a church near Piccadilly last night. Saw Alasdair Roberts play and this guy..



Bill Callahan was really good whilst being not particularly talkative. It was odd being in a pew in a church listening to music. The first two hours took place in daylight too. They brought the lights down and lit candles for Callahan's set which ran through old and new material and he played to an appreciative and due to the nature of the surroundings sober crowd. Go see him if you get the chance!

Gorilla-gram a go go!

Jackson got a gorilla-gram on his birthday, a tradition Tolley started. An arrangement was made for one to make it's way over to Dan but days got shifted and the plans never came to fruition. Neil from duffer made it happen today. Here's the initial surprise..

Neil has had a heavy presence on the alley of late, I hope he keeps it up. I'm sure news will flood in of horrific luncheons in the near future. It's good to keep Charlie abreast of his movements if he checks in here from over the water. Imagine his surprise when he finds that the alley has sent ninja spies to NYC to pap snap him, Rob and M J Fox at the deathbowl to Downtown premiere..



Hope the boys are happy over there. One individual we have missed here popped up in a new DVD we got in today. Channon King has a part in Never Forever...



It's five pounds and we have ten of them. Russel Cowling made it, come by and pick one up or give us a call. The names on the back are Steve Bailey, Channon King, David Dixon, Russel Cowling, Ben Sutcliff, Dave Watson, Simon Skipp, Veran Tull, Jay Tate, Will Thomson, James Caten and Sandy.
We stock Stussy again! It looks good on the rail..



Summer colour in the house, it's peppered with flavour pieces..

The pillar has a Nike and Stussy re-vamp..
