Last night was amazing. Walking through Fairfield halls is a little moribund nowadays but my spirits lifted once I was actually inside the halls. Steve Earle played for nearly two hours, told stories about his friendship with Townes Van Zandt and played the majority of the new album as well as delving into his extensive back catalogue.
