Koston 1

I knew if I let my reporting skills rest a number of days after my return from LA somebody would do what I didn't in regards to this...

That someone as is, as is more than often the case Mr Gary Warnett. Read an excellent piece on the shoe and it's realisation as I heard and failed to re-tell in the Q and A I attended on my first day there. What I will bring you soon as promised will be cherry picked images from my MOCA viewing. Read about the shoe over at Crooked Tongues

This bit of advertising worked...

Because look what I ended up with at home later that night...

Here was the home of my other burger on the trip...

Simple Man

The hustle and bustle of this city often means you become blinkered and miss the truly magical. Some things make my day, I'll always get a kick out of someone playing guitar upside down regardless of how many times I've seen the same spectacle...

and with deals like this out there...

the world is a wonderful place

Jonah

The last few days have been an enjoyable sabbatical in Bromley. Seeing family and old friends has been the order of the day. On top of this it's been great having three long days skating the newly improved park. Big mini ramp with extension and roll in, boxed in flat bar and a decent manny pad are the new additions and I was happy for hours. It was great seeing the gang but surprise guest on two of the days was this guy...

Simon Jones was the first person I ever saw do a kickflip in the flesh in probably about 1988 at the top of the Churchill gardens where the old mini stood so it was amazing to see him doing them again at the bottom 23 years later on.

After a busy day of retail I caught the tail end of the Adidas event out East, good to see old faces. Back in BR1 for a few days with a dreamy internet connection so I'll update you on new developments and be sure to bring you pictures now there is once again a ramp in the Churchill gardens.
