Back to Basics

An incident on Saturday night I have to report today left me knocked out, stripped of anything of any value and I came round in hospital. Not the best experience ever, the NHS were amazing however and I made it to work the next day with a glued eyebrow and a bit of a shiner, real purple today. Making my way back to my parents yesterday with no Oyster, phone, ipod, wallet etc was the most hobo feeling, it's crazy how reliant you become on things. One thing we're all pretty reliant on too is this guy...

Right hand man for the better part of my natural born is re-locating on Thursday. Going to see him and Georgie...

Off later on this evening, a sad day for us but a happy new start for them.

Decent Huf drop just arrived so here's some teasers of our quickest selling items. There are a good array of beanies...

The little things

I've found myself commenting on the damnedest things. "That's a lovely looking tree" etc. It was when I was really admiring an old picture of a bank's shop front whilst doing the banking earlier that I realised this had happened, I really do find the smallest things fascinating. Here is my favourite photo from Fred Mortagne's show at Wayward last week...

Here are my canine highlight's from today's Vice delivery...

Hound+Sunglasses=Gold dust...

Before I sign off I'm keen to remind you of the upcoming night this maniac...

and I have planned for you this Saturday> I'll prep you again tomorrow, it's going to be a good one.

Number 5 is Alive

It's been weird having no correspondence with Jackson today. Pleased to know he's having fun surfing it up though down in Pin's neck of the woods...

Have you seen Tanner's latest edit?...

Here's some trivia, this is the 1156th post on the alley. That's quite a lot of posts. Think we figured out that this coming Saturday will be the fifth installment of fun over at Bardens. Double Down is affectionately running under another title this time round...

Come and join the party. All the information you need to know is

Half Cab 50 50

If you aren't all over the internet I hope I can draw your attention to this new bit of footage for the first time, we've been enjoying it in here...

This guy is one of Ben Dominguez' friends from Oz where unfortunately (for us) is where he will be re-locating to in not so many days.

Holiday snaps

As I may have said I was tucked away when others were looting shops or avoiding such action as best they could. My views were a little more peaceful so i'm going to share some with you. One mad thing about the Forest Of Dean was that these guys were everywhere...

and whenever I was reading outside I'd see this family waddle past..

I was away with my family, rare guests were my cousins Mark and Will...

Every night I'd go outside and look at the moon with minimal light pollution...

I saw this house someone had shipped from Switzerland years ago for £200...

This was spotted from a boat on a trip we went on, there were Swans...

One man in a canoe waved at us and resultantly rowed straight into a tree branch. He managed to stay in the canoe. These comically arranged hay bales were re-visited for this photo opp of Will...

Sheep were everywhere, even by the side of the road...

I never really drink Cider very often but I became quite fond of this...

We would pilgrimage to a local pub called the Fountain for dinner, it was good food but I took this picture because I really liked the typography...

One hundred yards away from this pub was the scene where this sheep harassment took place. My Uncle caused quite a stir...

Two of them ended up headbutting each other in the road. We would walk home through the Forest by the light of the Moon and with a little help from my phone's torch. This Moon shot made it look like a UFO...

It was great having some fresh air and being surrounded by trees. On our way home we passed through Avebury to see a vaster arrangement of Neolithic monuments than at the Stenge. Here are the Cousins by one of them...

It had an amazing feeling about it, in one of the rocks Will found a note, it began "dear rock, thank you for this healing" This gives you some idea of the impact these stone circles have on some people. Regardless of cynicism and interpretation the fact that they are there is astonishing. We also saw this man made mound not so far from there called Silbury hill...

Look at these pure Harry Potter roots we saw in Avebury...

It took days to get this post out and I'd better go now as the shop re-fills itself like a toilet bowl. I'll leave you with a priceless Ches quote from earlier-"it's like educating Pork!"

Double Up

You have two attractions imminent on the very same night. This Thursday be sure to make your way to the Wayward Gallery to check this out...

Keep in the loop as far as any Wayward happenings
here!
Having paid that a visit (or the other way round if you prefer depending on your journey's end) be sure to go and see this too...

This gives you two whole days to prepare for your busy Thursday evening. I intended to show you some images from my last Week today but the prospect of downloading the images on Barney Rubble's desktop made me twitchy, best you have those two days to prepare anyhow. I'll put some up tomorrow or the next day.

Must Have

I don't often have product issues, most of the things I search for are old and unnatainable. I was alerted to this existing however and am pretty sure it's made the holy grail list...

Lets make this happen. Maybe it'll be in the same batch as this board Ches mocked up a few years back...
