" I'm peeing on my face too. On the inside"

Watching this has been on my to do list for a long time...

It got the Wilson stamp of approval so I finally took it down and liked what I saw. Other than that I've been hanging out with these guys a lot...

Raise high the roof beam

I was sad to hear that J. D. Salinger died the other day aged 91. You should make it your mission to read his books if you haven't. They spoke to me in a way that others hadn't when I was first turned on to them. I wanted to leave you with a quote, a good one, one from Catcher in the Rye. Deliberation about the next quote being tasteful or not took place. I decided the words are timeless, apt and a great example of his mind at work as spoken by his most famous protagonist...

"Boy, when you're dead, they really fix you up. I hope to hell when I do die somebody has sense enough to just dump me in the river or something. Anything except sticking me in a goddam cemetery. People coming and putting a bunch of flowers on your stomach on Sunday, and all that crap. Who wants flowers when you're dead? Nobody"- Holden Caulfield

Craig David

This came through...

and I took the necessary time off to give it the proper attention. It didn't really but I have got seven days off within which to pave the way to implementing some changes which could revolutionise my day to day. All of this is far less ominous than it sounds, I have taken a break basically. This could mean minimal blog activity or a bumper crop. One new development is having this in my life...

You could be hearing quite a lot about SAMCRO in the coming weeks

Do Watch This

Get on seeing the newest episode of

Wayward Wednesday's
for some PWBC love from the Boss. After you have done that visit the
Profoto
site and have a good look at the Basketball photo's. They belong to Dom Marley so vote for him to win. I'm sure you are aware of this by now but here's another reminder...

Our second store is open now in the basement of the WESC Store, 42 Carnaby Street, W1F. Make sure you make it down this Thursday as there will be product giveaways between 12-2pm and 5-7pm. 100 prizes to be precise! Join the
Facebook group
and the festivities. See you then. I'll leave you with the best mum cuss I have heard in years courtesy of Will. "Your mum's so fat she fell down the stairs and I thought Eastenders was starting!" Nice.

Don't watch that

By that I mean this...

Never getting that time back. He doesn't get out of prison, now you don't have to watch it. He fights a lot but if it's fighting you want I recommend the Rocky films. Avoid at all costs

Everything is illuminated

Susie Krome invited us to the best art show I've been to in ages. It was a collection of neon signs from all over the place and created for different reasons. Rescued window displays, ads etc. It's on the corner of Carnaby street and well worth checking out. Here are a selection of pictures...

Took this next one for Toddy...

This was my favourite, yeah dogs!...

This little counter was good...

The beauty section was rad, this big lady...

promised to transform...

just next door was a graphic botox ad...

This one came out amazingly well...

Promises at the bottom of the stairs...

This playing card greets you at the door...

Here's a G from the window...

Jackson's main gripe about his favourite bar...

The Lido sign's good...

Here's the sign to the toilets...

This looked great...

I liked this kola sign...

drink of choice...

Shawn...

Finally the last of picture from your virtual visit is Dan's favourite...

After this we enjoyed a pub pit stop and then jetted to the 12 bar to see an acoustic Wonk Unit show. Repping Slam the whole time Alex read from his sex manual which is a work in progress...

His words warmed up the crowd as always. He proceeded to play unplugged versions of some of the Wonk songs you may already know and love...

Surprise of the evening were two new songs I'd never heard him play before. One of these where he wishes he could have ten wives may be in my opinion the best song he's ever written. Looking forward to hearing it again. This greeted me this morning...

I've had a week of dubious gives on the lookalike scale but you'll follow...

Keep next Thursday evening free. To celebrate the official opening of our sister store beneath the WeSC store on Carnaby street there will be a launch party...

Have a good Weekend

Payment plan

So far this week I've twisted my ankle, sprained my wrist and decided I need an extravagant item of clothing. Let out a comedy Partridge scream this morning on the way down the stairs when I forgot to avoid putting weight on my foot. This man...

namely Mr Karim Bakhtaoui who has been busy out there clocking up footage and repping Adidas and DGK on the London streets has been smashing it. If you didn't see his Rat Signal you should make sure you have a watch

here
Next time you hesitate skating your local ledge picture him switch 360 flipping over the top of it and it might put things into perspective. Good news if you've been waiting for product from these guys...

Hang in there...

All the new product is on the wall and is being entered into our
Online Store
We have a limited drop of these too...

I enjoyed a beer with Snowy and Rob last night in the Royal Oak. I was stoked to find out that the spot where we were sitting was the point where Nicholas Lyndhurst travels back to War time in this...

This excited me somewhat

This time tomorrow

You may be aware that Chris Muhern's new video is soon to be released...

If not you are now. It's set to premiere in Philadelphia on the 5th of February and then here on the 25th at the Prince Charles cinema in Leicester Square. There'll be a 9 and 10 pm showing. Tickets are available in Slam already, they are £4 each. Lucien Clarke, Steph Morgan and Rory Milanes have a heavy presence in the video, they've been filming hard for this one. There will also be parts from Devon Connell, Jimmy McDonald, Curtis Rapp, Dave Caddo, Brendan Granstrand and Will Harmon. Have a watch of the trailer...

then get yourself better acquainted with the project at the new
site
You can then get yourself a ticket tucked away for the 25th of February and have a surprise Thursday night out.

Kicked out of everywhere

Last night's fruitless skate mission left Dan at home with no zic to edit. He had some archived stuff to go through however...

To see me not making anything, Smithy falling off and Stu Bentley dancing, make sure you check the latest update on
Zic
The frame grab couldn't have self selected any better

You learn something every day

The Guardian crossword got a session today. Managed to finish it apart from things I have never known but now do. This is a Dhow which is an Arab sailing vessel...

The thing attached to the bottom of this climbing shoe is called a crampon...

Rob knew this, I feel enriched. Pretty happy I got the Titicaca answer. Following a Ben Humphries recommendation I watched a few of these...

It's compelling stuff and it's nice having a familiar voice (Carmela Soprano) on the screen as it was watching Where The Wild Things Are and hearing Tony again. I also watched and enjoyed this last night...

Bad weather on the horizon forced Evan into his ark, I think it's going to force me underground into one of these...

Carbon Monoxide a go go

Still tho

Looks like the damp floor is going to impede any plans for skateboarding today. Jackson and crew managed to salvage a day out yesterday with special guest...

Visit Notch to share their day out. Just click on the second clip of

Following a Benji tip off I enjoyed this tail drop last night...

Visitors book part 2

Legendary Weekend visits have continued. The Pizzer famille greeted me this morning...

It was great seeing Jacob on a hype, I think the inevitable has happened. He's pretty interested in some skateboard action. We also had a visit from this guy...

I settled for a picture because I couldn't find the "this roundabout" 411 clip. He got some new shoes and is back on a skateboarding tip which is good news. Hoping for a Federation of Vert meeting later on. Enjoy the rest of the Weekend
