Productivity high

Many of my friends are smashing it up in different ways. It's great to see the end results of their hard work. Last night we went to see
Nick Jensen's
degree show...

The detail and order in his painting's is amazing. Here he is pictured next to an insane one...

I was told that the painting which is on the postcard was inspired by Obi-Wan Kenobi. According to Nick it isn't but it's a nice story. Just before going to Berlin I went to see a show
John Nolan
had a robot in. It was a James Lavelle show explained in more detail
here
The Nolan...

had been very busy working on a project called runaway robot...

The Futura inspired realisation is accompanied by an UNKLE track. The video looks amazing. Here's a better look at his creation...

It's one thing to build a robot but John really brought it to life...

Here it is next to the video which was on loop at the show...

I had a good time. Our lunatic Japanese friend Daisuke was there...

If you're keen to see the video it will be live early next week at
Streetlight Films
and I'll direct you there again then. Henry Kingsford has been beavering away. I trust you all got a copy of the first issue of
Grey...

The good news is that the second issue just came out! Ask in Slam for your copy, the cover is a picture of Palace pro Lucien Clarke that needs to be seen to be believed. It's a good read and it's a free publication, remember to ask. There is more work on show later on. Slug art will be filling the
Wayward Gallery...

and rumours of more Nolan showtime out there too. I'll bring you some stories from Berlin tomorrow.
