I loved watching his shows. They inspired me to draw all over everything with anything I could get my hands on. He could do anything in any style and it always looked easy and achievable. Unlike a lot of the presenters you remember from your youth who were slightly sinister in retrospect Tony Hart was always likeable and inspiring. Here's a clip from 1976 of him running it..
